Whoopi Goldberg has never been sexualised by the media, probably because of a combination of the roles she took on, alongside the ever-present systemic racism. This EGOT winner is a force to be reckoned with, and although she is very outspoken on daytime television these days, she continues to be a prominent voice and influence in the United States. Who can forget her breakout roles in ‘Ghost’ and ‘The Color Purple’, which thrust her right into the spotlight at a fairly young age.

Although onlookers love to mention the fact that Goldberg has gained weight over the years, this is a natural part of the aging process. These days, Whoopi looks nearly as youthful as she did back in the early days, and in comparison to others on the list, sets a very positive example. Maybe it has to do with he LGBTQ+ advocacy, the fact that she always wants to help those less fortunate, and is an all-round decent human being.
